Chris Cooley, Mark Moseley & Ray Schoenke Affirm the Team Name

Washington Redskins Alumni Chris Cooley, Mark Moseley and Ray Schoenke each have a message they want you to hear about the team name.

Ray Schoenke: “Changing the name does nothing, so i don’t quite get it. I’m trying to understand, and I think it seems to be more of a political move, than something that’s genuinely into improving the lives of Native Americans.”

Mark Moseley: “It’s a kind of a slap in the face, that they’re accusing of us of being a team, or that our logo represents something bad and that is not what it is. And we’ve proven that. I grew up with the Alabama Coushatta Indians in Texas and believe me, they love the Redskins.”

Chris Cooley: “I know that as a player, I played for the Redskins, I was proud when Joe Gibbs called me a Redskin. But I was proud because he said “A Redskin is someone who has honor, who has pride, has never quit, will fight, will do anything as a teammate. And that’s what they represent, that’s what the Native Americans represent.

Hail to the REDSKINS!!!
