Redskins Injury Report Post Game Week 1

The Washington Redskins opened the 2015 season with a loss at home to the Miami Dolphins. The team suffered a couple of key injuries in the process.

Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden opened his post game presser off with the following statement:

“Injuries, [WR] DeSean Jackson – hamstring, he’s going to have a MRI, not sure how long he’ll be out. [S] Duke [Ihenacho] had a wrist fracture, dislocation, he’ll get a MRI. [CB] Justin Rogers, plantar faciitis, he’ll probably be a couple days. [CB] DeAngelo Hall had a rib contusion, he came back. [T] Morgan [Moses] hurt his eye, he came back.”

The injury to DeSean Jackson changed the whole landscape of Sunday’s game, taking away the deep threat for Washington. The team went in an ultra-conservative direction, as far as the play-calling is concerned, after Jackson went down. More should be known about Jackson early this week after the results of his MRI are released.
