Giants’ Snee could opt for season-ending hip surgery | New York Post
“Yes, surgery is definitely an option,’’ the source said. “The question is just if they can get the hip playable, like they did with the other one. He is a tough SOB, but if you can’t move, it doesn’t matter how tough you are. The last time, at least he was able to move.’’

Canty: Tuck should punch opponents, not coach bashers | New York Post

Safety Will Hill set to rejoin team

He can throw the ball deep as well as anybody, but he’s gotten pressure a little bit here early in the season.”

With Jackson’s stretch-the-defense damage limited, the Eagles haven’t had as many explosive plays in the passing game, and not so coincidentally the team went from scoring 33 and 30 points against Washington and San Diego, respectively, to posting 16 in a loss to the Chiefs and 20 in Sunday’s defeat at Denver.

Kyle Wilber ready to start on Cowboys’ defensive line – ESPN Dallas
With end George Selvie dealing with the effects of a concussion, Kyle Wilber could take over at the spot. He would be the third different starter on an injury-ravaged defensive line. Selvie is playing because of the knee issues of Anthony Spencer; Nick Hayden is in at defensive tackle because Jay Ratliff is on the physically unable to perform list; and if Selvie cannot meet the NFL concussion protocol, the Cowboys will have to start Wilber in his place.

Joe Theismann has harsh words on Giants – NFC East Blog – ESPN
“To be honest with you Mike, if you look at this football team over the three years you’re talking about, really the three years, even though they’ve won championships, they’re not that good a football team,” Theismann said. “They’ve been inconsistent at the wide receiver position, whether it be by play or injury. The running back position has been suspect for quite a while, now you got guys putting the ball on the ground. Their defensive line has been hurt at times, and there’s been a great change there. And we know that their linebacking corps has been in flux, and their secondary has been average.”
