The Washington Commanders will host training camp this year at the OrthoVirginia Training Center at Commanders Park from July 27 through August 19, with 12 practice sessions that will be open to fans.
Practice sessions will start at 9:00 a.m. on July 27, 28, and 29 and continue into August on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 13th, and 14th. This year the team will also feature special event days such as “Back Together Saturday” on July 29, “Salute Day” on August 8, and “Kids Day” on August 9. These special days are crafted to offer fans a unique experience. However, the team advises fans to keep an eye out for any changes to the schedule through the Commanders mobile app, as practice times are subject to change due to the weather.
The Commanders will also be participating in joint practices with the Baltimore Ravens as part of their 2023 Training Camp. These practices are scheduled for August 15 and 16. The Ravens will host the Commanders for this pair of practices at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills. Following those sessions, the two teams will face off in a preseason game at FedEx Field on Monday, August 21.
Tickets to camp are free, and fans can claim up to six tickets for each open day. The tickets can be claimed through the official ticketing partner, SeatGeek, and can be accessed via both the Commanders and SeatGeek mobile apps using the same email address.
Free parking will be available at Dulles Town Center (21100 Dulles Town Cir, Sterling, VA 20166). A shuttle bus service will operate every ten minutes starting at 7:30 a.m., shuttling fans from Dulles Town Center to the camp throughout the day. For fans requiring ADA parking, on-site spaces will be available at the OrthoVirginia Training Center at Commanders Park on presentation of a valid state-issued disabled parking permit and/or license plate.
A 2,000-seat bleacher is available on a first-come, first-served basis, along with open grass areas where fans can relax on their own blankets and lawn chairs.
