The Washington Commanders signed a handful of free agents when the new league year began in March. Among those players was cornerback Cameron Dantzler, a Minnesota Vikings 3rd round draft pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Vikings release of Dantzler surprised some; the 6-2 190-pound defensive back still has one year left on his rookie contract, which is fully guaranteed at $2,743,000. The fourth-year pro out of Mississippi State is the first in a new category on the site titled “Watchin’ Film With Phil,” a deep dive-type of show highlighting All-22 game film hosted by me, Philip Hughes.
