–The Redskins started Tuesday with an interview of current outside linebackers coach Greg Manusky. Manusky interviewed for the team’s vacant defensive coordinator position Tuesday at Redskins Park. Manusky has previous defensive coordinator experience in San Diego, San Francisco, and Indianapolis. He also has ties to Redskins GM Scot McCloughan as the both of them were with the Niners from 2007-2009. The team confirmed the meeting later in the day via Twitter.
–With the NFL Draft 100 days away, a lot of folks are starting to take a look at possible picks at 17 for the Redskins. Rich Tandler with CSN Mid-Atlantic gave six possibilities in his daily ‘Need to Know’ post. His list included Stanford DE Solomon Thomas, Michigan S Jabrill Peppers, Michigan State DL Malik McDowell, Vanderbilt LG Zach Cunningham and Florida State RB Dalvin Cook. –Cowboys fans are still reeling in Sunday’s defeat…the Cowboys fan in this video calls out his fellow fans as being the dumbest in the entire NFL. Please excuse the language.
–With the Pro Football Hall of Fame committee on the brink of announcing the class of 2017 the Redskins took time to publish a letter from a super-fan of Joe Jacoby’s. The letter tells of just how great truly is and more…you can read it by clicking HERE.

–Interesting little nugget to note…Houston Texans Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel’s contract runs out next week. While the Texans appear to want him back you have to wonder if he will pop up on the Redskins radar.
–Now former Redskins offensive coordinator/new Rams head coach Sean McVay believes that Kirk Cousins will continue to improve in Washington. “I don’t think there’s any question in my mind,” McVay said. “Look at his body of work the last two years. These guys are great players and they have a long resume. They’ve accumulated that experience and gone through things good and bad. Anytime you look at someone who is successful at anything, one thing they’ve had to do is overcome some adversity. It’s an inevitable part of this game, but it’s something when you look at Kirk over the course of his career and through his life, he continually responded to challenges in a way that makes you believe in him.”
—According to sources, Offensive line coach Bill Callahan has zero interest in being the team’s offensive coordinator and is very content in the role he currently serves with the team. “Bill has never been happier in his life,” Callahan’s agent Bob LaMonte said. “He loves working with Jay,” LaMonte continued. “It’s not that he’s dismissive of an opportunity to, at some point in time, become a coordinator. But at this time, he’s not interested because he’s enjoying the players he works with and enjoying working for Jay.”
