The Washington Redskins finally added a safety to their roster on Monday as the team was able to reach an agreement with Brandon Meriweather.
According to confirmed reports Meriweather has agreed to a one year contract to return to the Redskins.

Meriweather, 30, started 12 games at safety for the Redskins last year. He had 52 tackles, two interceptions, a sack and he forced a fumble and recovered one.
The signing does not mean the team has closed the book on signing free safety Ryan Clark as negotiations are still ongoing between Clark’s agent and the Redskins.
