The Washington Redskins re-signed another one of their own players Tuesday when the team reached an agreement with veteran wide receiver Santana Moss.
Moss, who spent the last nine seasons with the Redskins, agreed to a one-year contract to return to the team, according to a person familiar with the situation. Financial terms were not immediately available.
This signing may come as somewhat of a surprise to many considering the team just added Andre Roberts and Mos turns 35 in June.
He surpassed 7,500 receiving yards with the Redskins and moved into third place in team history with 571 catches last season.
