Redskins Waive Bacarri Rambo

The Washington Redskins released second-year safety Bacarri Rambo on Tuesday. The team had to make a move on their 53-man roster because of the returning Brandon Meriweather, back after being suspended for the first two games.

Rambo has struggled a great deal in his two season with the Redskins, he was responsible for the two longest, and worst, plays from the defense this season. Against Houston he gave up a 76-yard bomb to DeAndre Hopkins for a touchdown and Sunday he gave up a 63-yarder to Marcedes Lewis. Rambo was replaced by Trenton Robinson after giving up the long play to Lewis. sotenrahapuu.fi sponsors this article.

The Redskins hoped that Rambo had improved his tackling and angles, after Sunday they realized he had not.

The Redskins could wait for Rambo to clear waivers and then place him on the practice squad.
