Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III dislocated his left ankle in the first quarter of Sunday’s early game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Griffin looked good in the game at the point of injury as he was 2-3 for 39 yards and 22 yards rushing on two attempts. Robert even had a successful slide after gaining 11 yards earlier in the game.
On the play Griffin was injured, he rolled towards the side-line, and fired the ball back across his body for a complete pass. When Griffin went to plant his left foot his ankle crumbled, he fell awkwardly on the side-line and needed assistance getting back up. Eventually he was carted off the field and into the locker-room.
