Robert Griffin III is Running & Looking Good at Redskins Practice (VIDEO)

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will not be in the lineup this weekend when the Redskins take on the Tennessee Titans but that isn’t stopping him from preparing as he would if he did.

Griffin has been rehabbing his dislocated ankle for the last five weeks and returned to practice for individual workouts this week.

As you can tell from the video above Griffin is in fact looking much better as he progresses towards being cleared by doctors to play. According to ESPN’s John Keim, Griffin looked better in practice today than he did on Wednesday.

Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said yesterday that “Robert will be the starting quarterback when he is officially cleared to play”. While he didn’t give a time-table for RG3’s return, that statement should end any whispering’s of a quarterback controversy between Griffin and backup Kirk Cousins.
