According to several reports, Washington is signing TE Zach Ertz (33) to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million. Ertz will be reunited with Kliff Kingsbury, whom he last played for in Arizona when Kingsbury was the head coach.
Ertz started seven games last season for the Cardinals before being placed on injured reserve with a quad injury. He made 27 catches on 43 targets for 187 yards and a touchdown. In his 11-year career, he has 709 receptions for 7434 yards and 46 touchdowns.
Ertz is no stranger to the NFC East, having played in 123 games (starting 85) for the Eagles from 2013-2021.
