Redskins Acquire Center Bryan Stork
The Washington Redskins announced today that they have acquired center Bryan Stork via trade from the New England Patriots in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick.
As others have said, Redskins have acquired C Bryan Stork from Patriots for conditional 7th-round pick.

Stork (6-4, 310) initially entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick (105th overall) of the Patriots in the 2014 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 21 career regular season games with 17 starts.
There was reportedly an issue at first with the trade as Stork was allegedly contemplating retirement. With the team officially announcing the deal, those retirement thoughts are now gone.
Asked about report of Stork retiring, source says, “Possibly.” So… hang tight.

Redskins announce that the trade for Stork is official… So that would lead you to believe that he’s not retiring.

Last season, Stork appeared in eight regular-season games with six starts – five at center and one at right tackle – after missing the first seven games of the season while on the Patriots’ Reserve/Injured list with a designation to return. He also started both postseason contests for New England at center.
As a rookie in 2014, Stork played in 13 regular season games with 11 starts at center. He also started both postseason contests in which he appeared, including the Patriots’ Super Bowl XLIX victory against the Seattle Seahawks.
There are some injury concerns as Stork has had three concussions in two years. There are also some concerns about Stork’s character after he reportedly was thrown out of practice last week following a fist-fight during Patriots open practice with the Chicago Bears.
With the move, it’s all but certain that center/guard Josh LeRibeus’ time in DC has come to an end after several disappointing years.
