The Redskins were originally set to pick 5th in the third round (69th overall) but opted to trade back with the Seattle Seahawks. In return, the Redskins received the 95th overall pick (3rd round), 112th overall (4th round), 167th overall (5th round), and 181st overall (6th round).
Redskins Trade Back in Third
The trade gives the Redskins 10 total picks in the 2015 NFL Draft with eight remaining, and their two top needs already filled. Scot McCloughan said before the draft that he wanted 10 picks; he now has exactly that.
Washington drafted right tackle Brandon Scherff on Thursday and Preston Smith in the second round before the trade.
Barring another trade the #Redskins will have back-to-back picks in the sixth round. Pick from SEA originally Jets, with pick 5th and 6th.
