The Washington Redskins released second-year safety Bacarri Rambo on Tuesday. The team had to make a move on their 53-man roster because of the returning Brandon Meriweather, back after being suspended for the first two games.
Rambo has struggled a great deal in his two season with the Redskins, he was responsible for the two longest, and worst, plays from the defense this season. Against Houston he gave up a 76-yard bomb to DeAndre Hopkins for a touchdown and Sunday he gave up a 63-yarder to Marcedes Lewis. The Redskins hoped that Rambo had improved his tackling and angles, after Sunday they realized he had not.
