With their fifth-round pick (154th overall), the Washington Redskins have selected tight end Jeremy Sprinkle, out of the University of Arkansas. Sprinkle will fit nicely in Jay Gruden’s offensive scheme and should play a major role with the burgundy and gold for years to come with his ability to catch passes and block.

Sprinkle is a No.2 inline TE option the Redskins can field with Jordan Reed. This is also an insurance pick for the oft-injured Reed. –Mark Dulgerian
