Antonio Gibson has a documented history of fumbling. In 2021, he fumbled six times, which was the most for any running back that year. In that offseason, he made it a point to combat what was looking to a lot of people as a major flaw. In 2022 Gibson only had one fumble, leaving many to believe he had fixed his issues.
The importance of that is in the fact Gibson fumbled in Sunday’s game, and everyone watching who knew the history of the talented back immediately gave a collective facepalm. My reaction to the play is in the video below.
