Galette (27) recorded twenty-two sacks and forced four fumbles in the last two seasons in New Orleans. He also has some baggage weighing him down at the moment. The Saints released Galette just ten months after signing him to a new four-year, $41.5 million contract extension. The release stems from a video that surfaced recently of Galette allegedly being involved in a beach-brawl. There’s no denying that Galette would be a huge pickup for the Redskins. The team already has Ryan Kerrigan, Trent Murphy, and rookie Preston Smith at outside linebacker.
