Redskins Depth Chart –  The Washington Redskins released the first depth chart of the preseason on Monday. On a team that is returning 21 of 22 starters from a year ago, you shouldn’t expect many surprises. Fact is rookie Bacarri Rambo at free safety is the only thing new to this list from last year as he replaces Madieu Williams (thankfully). Keep in mind that Rob Jackson and Jarvis Jenkins are both ineligible for the first four games of the year due to separate banned substance related incidents. At first glance some may wonder why Santana Moss is the third spot, second receiver…no need to worry, these depth charts don’t have a spot for the ‘slot’ receiver, which is the title that belongs to Moss as he will line up as the number three receiver this season. I expect Nick Barnett to move up the list quick at middle linebacker as he learns the system. It would be better if this particular depth chart was looked at as more of starting spot rather than a finished product as it is likely to change many times before it is finalized.
