Redskins re-sign kicker Dustin Hopkins to three-year deal

The Washington Redskins announced Monday that the team re-signed place-kicker Dustin Hopkins. Hopkins signed a 3-year deal worth $6.875 million. The deal includes a $1,201,072 signing bonus, according to several team sources.

Hopkins was originally drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round (pick 177 overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. He joined the Redskins in Week 2 of the 2015 season and has kicked in 39 regular season games, converting 73-of-87 field goal attempts (83.9 percent) and 93-of-98 PATs.
