Redskins Release Brandon Jenkins; Recap Training Camp Day 4

Redskins Release Brandon Jenkins

The Washington Redskins made a roster move on Sunday releasing second year outside linebacker Brandon Jenkins. Jenkins was drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 draft and was once thought to be a decent prospect. Jenkins release is at least in part due to the presence of rookie Trent Murphy. Murphy has looked good in the short amount of time he has had to show his skills this spring/summer. In other Redskins news Maurice Hurt was activated after he passed his physical today.
