The Redskins added former Baylor WR David Gettis to their reserve/future contract list, the team announced Tuesday.
Gettis (6 foot 3, 220) was drafted by the Panthers in the sixth round of the 2010 draft. In 15 games as a rookie, he hauled in 37 passes for 508 yards and three touchdowns. But he’s only appeared in two games since because of a torn ACL and a hamstring injury.
Gettis, 26, played two seasons with quarterback Robert Griffin III while at Baylor.
