As rookie seasons go, it was a successful one for the 6-foot-2, 320-pound nose tackle out of Stroudsburg High School and West Virginia University. It all started after being drafted by the Redskins in the seventh round (No. 253 overall pick) and playing in all 16 games behind starter Barry Cofield, finishing with 10 tackles and two sacks.
